Capt. Hickok of the Yale Athletic team held track games Saturday to decide on the strength of the leading candidates for the team. There were about 20 entries in each event, and all the runs were closely contested.

P. W. Crane won the half-mile run, with a handicap of 22 yards. Time, 2m. 2 4-5s.

The mile run was won by Edward S. Brackett, handicap 20 yards, in 4m. 47s.; B. R. Hinkley second.

The mile walk was won by F. C. Thrall, scratch, in 7m. 37 3-5s.
