Debates were held Thursday night at Princeton in both Clio and Whig halls to determine the contestants for the preliminary debate, which will decide Princeton's representatives in the Yale-Princeton contest.
Those who were chosen from Clio were: B. L. Hirshfield '95, Ohio; F. W. Lewis '95, Kansas; J. H. Crawford '96, Pennsylvania; alternate, S. L. Haynes '95, Indian territory.
From Whig: W. G. Burns '95, Illinois; Alfred Hayes, Jr., '95, Pennsylvania; R. M. McElroy '96, Kentucky; alternate, E. W. Hamilton, New York.
Yale's debaters will be L. S. Buttrick '95, Clough '95, and Rall '95. Clark '95, Julien '98, and Baldwin '95, alternates.
