Mr. Wm. Lloyd Garrison will give an address to the students of the University on "The Duty of Total Abstinence and the Popular Fallacies Concerning Light Drinks," next Thursday evening, April 11th, in Sever 11, under the auspices of the Harvard Total Abstinence League. Mr. Garrison's ability as a speaker is well known here, and this is a subject about which he is especially desirous of speaking to Harvard men.
Dean Briggs will preside.
At the close of the address a business meeting of the League will be held for the election of officers and for other important business. An opportunity will be given to join the League.
