PROVIDENCE, R. I., April 25. - Dartmouth defeated Brown this afternoon in their second game, in an exciting contest. The field was muddy, yet some excellent playing was exhibited. Brady, Brown's substitute pitcher was pretty wild. After the first inning Dinsmore succeeded Patey for Dartmouth. Brown came near scoring again several times. The score by innings:
