The Freshman Debating Club held its regular meeting in Sever 11 last night. The question for debate was: "Resolved, That the system of administration at Oxford is preferable to that at Harvard." The principal disputants were: Affirmative, E. D. Curtis, W. M. Gardner, and G. A. Giles; negative, J. G. Gulick, E. B. Barton, and C. E. Brown. The decision of the judges and of the house was in favor of the affirmative. Mr. H. A. Bull '95 criticised the debate and the speakers.

It was announced that the debate between the Harvard Freshman Debating Club and the Yale Freshman Union will be held in New Haven on the evening of May 10.
