During the past two evenings trials have been held for the candidates for the '94 Banjo Club. The trials have been under the direction of members of the 'varsity Banjo Club, and they have made the selections thus far. As usual there are a great many banjos trying, but very few guitars. The material seems to be very fair, and if enough more guitars turn up, the out look is very promising for a good club. The men will begin practising together as soon as possible, and will get in readiness for the spring concerts which are usually given in company with the Freshman Glee Club.
The following are the successful candidates chosen thus far the Banjo Club: D. F. Calham, E. P. Merwin, Jr., E. Tuckerman, B. Olmsted, B. Wells, Snow, Howard. Merwin has been chosen temporary leader.
