At the last meeting of the Cambridge Board of Aldermen, Alderman Bradford offered the following order: "That His Honor, the Mayor, be requested to communicate with the authorities of Harvard University with a view to securing from them some action which shall prevent improperly-clad students from running in the streets of the city."
In support of the order Mr. Bradford said that it was the result of many letters received by him from citizens requesting that this practice of the students be discontinued. He believed that some action of the city council would act as a support for the college authorities. The order was adopted.
