At the competitive debate of the Wendell Phillips Club last evening, three men who spoke were elected members. Three more men were also elected who had spoken twice in former debates. The men are: H. W. Foote '97, W. M. Trotter '95, E. F. Southworth '97, E. W. Capen '97, F. R. Hodge '95, R. G. Valentine '96.
There will be no meeting of the club next Friday, as that is the date set for the debate with the Harvard Union. The subject for March 15 will be: "Resolved, That there should be a single tax on land."
