Harvard pulled out the series with University of Pennsylvania in yesterday's deciding game. Jack Highlands was again in the box for Harvard, and while he was hit hard throughout the game, was much more steady than his opponents, giving less bases on balls and making more strike outs.

Pennsylvania started in with a rush, and for three innings held a lead of 3 to 0. Then Reese, having lasted one more inning than Bayne on Monday, went to pieces all at once. He gave four bases on balls in the third, and Harvard's timely hits gave her the lead.

Boswell was again called in to make an effort to save the game. Pennsylvania tied the score in the sixth, but Harvard immediately drew away, and batted out a victory in the last few innings.

Mason led at the bat for Harvard, besides doing some clever base running. Abbott, who again filled his old position at third, earned his right to second place on the batting order by three singles. Highlands was dropped to seventh place, but, as in the Holy Cross and Brown games, did all his batting at critical moments. In the third he drove in three runs with his three base hit, and scored himself on an error, while in the eighth his double was good for two more. The score:
