At the meeting of the Engineering Soeiety last evening several important business matters were transacted. It was voted that the present system of annual dues be abolished and that there be substituted instead an initiation fee of $1.50. The office of librarian was by vote of the society abolished. The following men were elected officers for the ensuing year: President, S. U. Hopkins '97; secretary, Warren Partridge '97; treasurer, S. S. Montague '97.
