The English Play.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The following men have already been chosen to represent the "fops" and the "gallants" in the English play: R. H. E. Starr '97, C. F. D. Belden Sp., E. Brown '95, E. H. Brown '96, H. C. Quinby L. S., E. G. Knoblauch '96, H. Shurtz '97, D. H. Morris '96, H. D. Walker L. S. S., C. Smith '96, V. S. Thomas '95. About eight more will be chosen as soon as possible, and then the work of procuring suitable costumes will begin at once.

There is a strong probability that the the Department of English will issue by the end of this week the text of the play as it will be acted. The text will be necessarily cut down considerably, as the original Elizabethan version is very wordy and in several places distinctly drags.
