Below is given an exact statement of the Faculty's vote. It was communicated directly to the Chairman of the Athletic Committee, and not through the Corporation as was published in yesterday's papers.

"At a meeting of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences held Feb. 19, 1895, it was

"Resolved, That the Faculty desire the Committee on Athletics to put a stop to all intercollegiate football contests."
