Harvard-Columbia Fencing.

At the meeting of the executive committee of the Harvard Fencing Club last evening it was decided to accept Columbia's challenge for a contest, on condition that the latter send the trophy that Harvard won last year to the Harvard Fencing Club. The trophy, which is to be an appropriate brouze statuette, has not yet been completed. The executive committee took this stand on the ground that the Harvard club could not be challenged for a trophy that it has never received, and also that the symbol of the victory of last year's team might be publicly exhibited in the University, even if it be only for a short time.
