Dr. White, the head master of Berkeley School, is planning several changes in the cinder-track at Berkely Oval, where the intercollegiate championships were held last year. The straight-away will be widened by about 6 feet and the corners will be well banked. This will admit of at least two more contestants running at once in the dashes and should result in cutting down the time in the bicycle race considerably.
