The following letter has been received by F. S. Elliot L. S., of the "Oxfords" polo team:

NEW ENGLAND SKATING ASSOCIATION, Mr. F. S. Elliot,
BOSTON, MASS., December 17, 1895. Mr. F. S. Elliot,
"DEAR SIR: The New England Skating Association will offer a silver cup for a triangular ice polo league between Harvard, Brown and Yale, if the other colleges care to enter into such a competition.
"For the Association, "FREDERICK P. BONNEY, Secretary."
A similar letter has been sent to the other colleges.
