THE FALL CONCERT.

The Faithful Efforts of the Musical Clubs Achieve Well-Merited Success.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The annual fall concert of all the musical clubs took place last evening in Sanders Theatre. The theatre was fairly well filled by a select and appreciative audience and the concert throughout was most entertaining.

The Glee Club showed the result of careful training, and the rendering of their songs was worthy of a longer programme.

The solo by E. M. Waterhouse was particularly appreciated and received an enthusiastic encore.

The Pierian Sodality more than came up to expectations and Wagner's "March from Tannhauser" was particularly well executed. The Banjo and Mandolin Clubs showed the result of faithful persevering work and their performance was all the more creditable when one considered that the men have not had the usual Christmas trip to look forward to.

After the concert a dance was held in Memorial Hall which most of those who were at the concert attended.
