8 Takeaways From Harvard’s Task Force Reports
A convention of graduate students in the American Universities will be held in Philadelphia on January 3, under the auspices of the Graduate Club of the University of Pennsylvania.
Last spring, on the initiative of the HarvardGraduate Club, graduate students from sixteen colleges and universities met in New York. The convention in Philadelphia this year will be the second such meeting of university graduates. In general the purposes of the coming convention are the same as those of the one held last year. The most important matter to be discussed is maintenance of standards for advanced degrees.
The delegates will be tendered a reception by the Pennsylvania Graduate Club, at which speeches will be made by prominent members of Pennsylvania's faculty.
The delegates chosen to represent Harvard are E. A. Singer and C. A. Duniway.
