Class Football Notes.

The junior and freshman teams were called out for light practice yesterday afternoon in preparation for today's game, the deciding match in the class championship series.

The ninety-seven team spent the afternoon in practicing signals. The men went into it with a dash and vim, and as a result the interference was on the whole very good and the runners followed their interference closely. The team believes that it has a good chance of winning, and every man is determined to do his best.

The freshman first and second elevens practiced signals separately for some time, and then lined up against each other for two short halves. The first eleven had decidedly the best of it, but the second played a snappy game, and at times made good gains.

Both juniors and freshmen are using many tricks and criss-cross plays. Judging from the scores of the previous games, the teams are very well matched and a close and exciting game may be looked for.
