The Philosophical Conference.

The first meeting of the Philosophical Conference for the present year will be held at the Colonial Club, Thursday evening, November 7, at 8 o'clock.

It is expected that Professor Ladd of Yale, will be present. Brief addresses may be expected both from Professor Ladd and from other members of the department.

All those members of the University who hold a degree from any college or professional school and who are now taking any philosophical course, are cordially invited by the members of the Philosophical Department to be present at this opening Conference of the year, whose purpose is to bring together advanced students of philosophy for purposes of cooperation and of social intercourse.
