The freshman team lined up yesterday for a very short time, and then practiced signals. During the short line-up, Dibblee punted well on the first, and Blaikie on the second. Little rushing was done, but the line of the first was much strengthened by Fairbanks, who has returned to centre, and Sargent, who left the 'varsity squad and played right tackle.

As usual, the work of the backs was good, when once the play was started, but fumbling was again very frequent.
