For the past two weeks the candidates have been practicing the various evolutions which constitute the game of push-ball. At the practice Friday afternoon, the '99 candidates came together and elected R. A. Leeson, captain, and R. N. Burnham, manager of the freshman team. It is hoped that the men in the sophomore and junior classes will come out in order to form teams now that the class football games are nearly ended. A game has been promised for next Saturday if sufficient material for two good teams presents itself. The new game has the endorsement of the leading coaches of the 'varsity eleven and should not fail to attract Harvard athletic men.
