The elevens of the Boston Athletic Association and the Chicago Athletic Association played to a tie in Chicago yesterday afternoon. The game was said to be the hardest fought that has ever taken place in the West. At the end of the first half the score stood 4 to 0 in favor of the Boston team. In the second half the brilliant work of Van Duser of Chicago resulted in a touchdown for the latter. The goal was missed, leaving the score Boston A. A., 4; Chicago A. A., 4.
