The Philadelphia Whist Club defeated the Harvard Whist Club, Saturday night, winning in 108 hands played, 18 more tricks than Harvard. The Harvard team was composed of W. T. Denison '96, J. D. Arnold L. S., E. H. Brown '96, J. H. Peck, L. S., C. S. Thurston L.S. and C. D. Booth '96, captain. The players from Philadelphia were: C. W. Hill, W. H. Watson, B. H. Lowry, J. S. Neff, W. A. Hawley E. S. Edwards, captain. Mr. L. M. Bouve, of the American Whist Club was referee.
