The hare and hound run yesterday was over a long course in the neighborhood of Newton. The Hares, H. W. Foote '97 and A. B. Ruhl '99, covered the distance in 1 h. 26 1-2m. The hounds did not finish in time to secure the hares' prize, but the following finished within two minutes of the required time and in the following order: D. Grant M. S., E. A. Starbuck '98, W. C. Burton '99, W. F. Porter '00, H. L. Carter '98, F. B. Dutton '97, E. D. Fullerton '98.
