The managing committee of the American School at Athens announce that at their last meeting Dr. Charles Waldstein of King's College, Cambridge, was re-elected professor of the history of art for the year 1896-97, and Professor Herbert Weir Smyth of Bryn Mawr College was invited to serve as professor of the Greek language and literature for the same year. Professor Abraham Lincoln Fuller of Western Reserve University was elected to the latter chair for the year 1897-98.
