The smoke talk to be given by Professor Norton next Monday evening is the first of a monthly series, arranged for by the executive committee. Professor Hart, Professor Taussig, and Mr. Richard Henry Dana have kindly agreed to speak in the series.

It is believed that these talks will afford the members of the club an excellent opportunity for obtaining information about the reform of the Civil Service, from men who have made a careful study of the subject. The talks often the additional advantage of bringing the members together informally, so that they may talk over the work of the club and make suggestions to the executive committee.
