President Eliot, who is visiting the exposition at Atlanta, was given a dinner on Tuesday night at the Aragon by fifty old Harvard graduates.
William H. Baldwin, Jr., vice president of the Southern Railway, was to have presided, but he was called away from the city, and Henry M. Atkinson took his place.
Several Harvard men came from distant southern points to attend the dinner. President Eliot spoke at length.
