"The class of 1890 desire to express their grief at the loss of their classmate, E. F. Rogers. He was known, as an undergraduate, to a large number of men who respected him for his real ability and for the live interest he took in all class and college affairs. Those who knew him more intimately recognized in him a genuineness and unselfishness to which his friends can bear sincere witness. His graduate work was characterized by a thoroughgoing patience and persistence which earned for him high academic distinction. In what he had accomplished he honored his class, which learned with deep sorrow of his death.

Resolved, That the sympathy of the class be extended to his parents in their trouble.

Resolved, That a copy of this statement be included in the class report.
