The first eleven only scored one touchdown against the second eleven in yesterday afternoon's practice. This touchdown was made chiefly because Brown's kick was stopped by Holt, who broke through. Notwithstanding the fact that only one touchdown was made, the playing, especially in the first half, was again very spirited.
Cozzens was again on the first eleven, but his playing was not so good as it has been on previous days. Arnold again played a strong game at fullback on the secon eleven. The best work in the line on the socond eleven was done by Doucette, who played centre on the second eleven in the first half and on the first eleven in the second half. He played a strong game and will play in the second half of today's game with Amherst.
In the secon half the line-up was almost entirely different from what it was in the first half. The playing on both sides was rather slow and stubborn. The teams were very evenly matched, so that neither side scored.
