The first of the ten concerts to be given during the winter in Sander's Theatre by the Boston Symphony Orchestra will be given there tonight at a quarter to eight. Tickets will be on sale at the theatre this evening.
The programme is as follows: Symphony No. 9, Mozart; Mad Scene from "Hamlet," A. Thomas; overture "Coriolanus," Beethoven; Aria, "Ah! Perfido!" Beethoven; overture "Sakuntala," Goldmark. Mme. de Vere-Sapio is the soloist for the evening. Mr. Emil Paur conducts the orchestra.
