The freshman football practice, yesterday afternoon, was, on the whole, sharp and spirited. The good work was marred, however, by the old fault of fumbling. The men seem to be in first-class condition, and at times play a brilliant game, but the work is not as reliable and consistent as it should be, now that the season is so far advanced.
The first scored four times. The best playing was done by Dayton, Dibblee and Farley, for the first, and Holt for the second.
