HUA Election Will Feature No Referenda or Survey Questions
The five-mile road race which has been so often postponed will be run this afternoon, provided it does not rain, snow or sleet. The start will be from the gymnasium at 4 p. m. A tandem will start with the scratch men, and any contestant may come back to scratch and get the advantage of the pacing of the tandem, but by doing so he shall forfeit all chance to a place prize, and will be only eligible for one of the time prizes.
The tandem is put in to help to establish a good record for the course and not to benefit any one rider.
To avoid misunderstanding contestants must remember that any one accepting pace from the tandem at any time there-by forfeits his right to any place prize he may win.
The cold weather has frozen the roads and they are hard and smooth, so fast time may be looked for.
