TENNIS TOURNAMENT.

Ingraham and Parke, by winning their matches in the semi-finals yesterday, are now left to play in the finals of the Fall Tournament.

Ingraham won his match with Pierpont after losing the first set, 6-1. In the first set Ingraham played a backcourt game, but in the next two sets he ran to the net at every opportunity and won rather easily. Pierpont's lobs were short and ineffective. Parke's victory over Holt was rather unexpected. He played a very fast game, out-classing Holt at every point. He did especially good work at the net and his back-hand strokes were remarkably swift and accurate. Holt was somewhat handicapped by having to use a new racket. The summary of yesterday's matches is as follows:

Singles.- Semi-Finals.

Ingraham beat Peirpont, 1-6, 6-4, 6-4.

Parke beat Holt, 8-6, 6-4.

Consolation Singles.- Third Round.

Fitz beat Brice, 6-0, 6-2.

Semi-Final Round.

Carleton beat Bacon, 9-7, 6-4.
