Yesterday afternoon the 'varsity crew took their usual spin on the river in the shape of a two-mile time row. Mr. Watson and Mr. Fenno did the coaching. A strong wind blew across the river and caused the boat to roll a great deal. A few changes were made in the bow of the boat which seemed to work to a very great advantage. Goodrich '98 was shifted from bow to 3, Hollister '97 from 3 to 2 and Chatman from 2 to bow. This will undoubtedly be the order in which the crew will race against B. A. A. on Friday. This afternoon the men are to be examined by Dr. Sargent and so will not row. A long walk will be taken instead. The order of the crew is as follows:
Cox., Rust; stroke, Bullard; 7, Jennings 6, Stevenson; 5, Perkins; 4, Ames; 3, Goodrich; 2, Hollister; bow, Chatman.
