Freshman Track Meeting.

The entries for the freshman games closed last evening. All the events will not be run off as there are not enough entries. And all those events which have less than five entries will be dropped out. It is hope that a large number of men will turn out to watch the games and encourage the freshmen. This meeting is a very important one as it brings out all the new material of the University and a large number of entries and spectators tend to make the meeting successful. The games take place on Thursday at four o'clock. Following is the list of entries:

100 yards dash-J. N. Harrington, H. E. Shore, J. T, Roche, Jr., E. E. Jungerich, M. B. Fuller, R. M. McKittrick, G. D. Dutton, A. F. Williams.

220 yards dash-J. E. Brooks, E. E. Jungerich, H. E. Shore, T. H. Endicott, J. T. Roche, Jr., M. B. Fuller, R. M. McKittrick, G. P. Dutton.

440 yards run-H. H. Fish, W. C. Burton, E. D. Harlow, Jr., D. Grant, T. H. Endicott, J. E. Brooks.

High jump-W. C. Burton, R. Perkins, J. B. Coonly, P. E. Somers, F. Holt.

These are all the events which have the required number of entries, but if enough men enter in any others before six o'clock this evening their entries will be accepted.

The entries for the 'varsity games which take place on Monday next will close on Friday the 25th.
