Finals in Tennis.

Lockett '92 won the finals in the singles of the handicap tennis tournament by defeating Torrey, Gr. The match was not especially interesting or well played. Lockett played the cooler and more confident game, and had the match well in hand from the start. He played steadily, while Torrey, on the other hand, kept driving the ball out of the court. The score by sets was as follows:

Pillsbury, L. S, and Bailey, L. S. won the finals in the doubles by defeating Cummin '92 and Spaulding '92, who had a handicap of fifteen. The match was poorly played; the score was as follows: 6-3, 3-6, 6-1, 6-2.

This morning at ten o'clock Coues, M. S., will play Burroughs '93, and at 10.45 o'clock Torrey, Or., will play the winner to decide who gets second prize in the singles.
