The efforts of some of the University of Pennsylvania graduates to bring about a game between their team and Yale have failed. The matter is said to have been broached to Captain Thorne of the Yale team by some leading alumni, and he rejected it at once as out of the question, for this year, at least. Pennsylvania seems to want a game with Yale, but she is unwilling to make any official advances toward a meeting, believing it to be Yale's place to do this.
