Harvard '98 and Boston Latin played an interesting game of football on Soldiers Field yesterday afternoon in which the Latin School was beaten 14 to 0.
Ninety-eight received the ball from the kick-off and by snappy playing carried the ball to Boston's 5 yard line. Here the ball went to the Latin School. Teevins tried to punt but the ball was blocked by '98 and a safety made. Score '98 2, Boston Latin 0.
Two more touchdowns were made for '98 by Gibbs and Shepard, the latter making a beautiful run of 65 yards behind good interference. Flint kicked both goals, making the score 14 to 0.
In the second half neither side scored although the ball remained on the Latin School's thirty yard line most of the time.
