No Definite Arrangement Yet in Regard to a Princeton Game.

[Special Despatch to the HARVARD CRIMSON.]

NEW LONDON, CONN., Oct. 17.- Captain Lea and P. King representing Princeton, and Captain Brewer and Professor Ames representing Harvard met at the Cochran House here today to discuss matters in connection with the Harvard-Princeton football game which is scheduled for November 2nd.

They were in conference from about noon until 8 o'clock, but nothing was made public. When Professor Ames boarded a train for Boston he said to a reporter, "nothing can be made public. We had a meeting with Princeton and negotiations are in progress." From Professor Ames's statement it is to be inferred that the two colleges did not reach a conclusion in regard either to the rules which are to govern the game, or some of the men on the teams.
