Ninety-seven defeated the Manual Training School eleven on Soldiers Field yesterday afternoon in an interesting game of two ten minute halves.
In the first half M. T. S. held '97 down to one touchdown, but in the second '97 scored twice on a fumble and good playing. M. T. S. was weakened by the absence of several regular men and did not play the game she is capable of. Ninety-seven had no trouble in gaining the necessary five yards and was held but once on four downs.
