Benjamin Cushing, M. D., of the class of 1842, died at his home in Dorchester yesterday morning at the age of seventy-three.

Dr. Cusching settled at an early age in Dorchester and identified himself with the old town and its interests. He has held many places of trust, and in town, church, and in his profession, to which his study had contributed much, he will be sorely missed.
