The tenth annual conference of the New England Association of Colleges and Preparatory Schools was held at Providence, R. I., Saturday afternoon and evening.

A report on entrance examinations in history was given, and Professor A. B. Hart of Harvard delivered a paper on the subject. Resolutions were then passed to raise the entrance requirements in history.

At the evening session Professor W. M. Davis of Harvard delivered an address upon "Physical Geography as a requirement for admission to college. A reception followed the session.
