For the past two weeks several of last year's Mott Haven team and a number of new men have been working steadily on the track. Among the new men D. Grant who has entered the Scientific School from Toronto University has shown marked ability in the half mile. He ran it once in 2m. 3s. and the three quarters in 3m. 30s.

W. W. Hoyt, the pole vaulter is running the high hurdles. He has not tried this branch of athletics since he left school.
