The annual dues of the Lawn Tennis Club have been changed from two dollars to five. A number of twentypunch tickets have been issued, which will cost two dollars and a half each, and will entitle the holder to the use of the courts twenty times. A shingle will be given only to a man joining for the year.
Half of the tennis courts on Jarvis Field were marked out yesterday, and all that remains to be done is the setting of the centre posts for the nets. All the courts will probably be ready for use in a day or two, and ought to be in pretty fair condition.
