Ninety-Nine Football Practice.

The freshman football practice yesterday consisted of some preliminary signal practice followed by two games of five minutes halves. The first, between the elevens captained by Shaw and Thompson, was marked by much fumbling; the second game, between Nourse's and Adams's elevens had more snap. After the line-up the candidates took a run around the field.

The coaches will soon be able to form a first eleven, and thin out the candidates. Crane, one of the freshman coaches last year, is assisting in coaching.
