Baseball Notes.

A nine made up from players on the 'varsity squad played a three-inning game with the freshman nine yesterday afternoon. The game was played on the diamond that has been laid out on the football field, while the first 'varsity nine practiced in the secret practice field.

The freshmen were weak at the bat, but played a good fielding game. The scrub team made three runs in the first inning, while the freshmen did not score at all.

The 'varsity played its usual practice game and afterwards fielded for practice. The squad will probably be some what reduced within a few days.
