Harvard Still On Track To Reach Fossil Fuel-Neutral Status by 2026, Sustainability Report Finds
It is interesting to notice the comparative amounts of business done during the early part of this year by the cooperative stores at Harvard and Yale. At the annual meeting of the Harvard society, held November 21, the following statistics were presented:
Total sales to date, $56,137.31
Total sales to corresponding date last year, 50,247.01
-
Increase over last year, $5,890.30
At Yale the figures were:
Sales from September 26 to December 15. $13,475.85
Sales during corresponding time last year, 8,854.46
-
Increase over last year, $4,621.39
It will be seen that while the Yale society shows an increase in its business over last year of more than fifty per cent, its total sales to December 15 did not amount to one-fourth of the sales of the Harvard cooperative store to November 21 only.
