Action by Brown Faculty.

The faculty of Brown University recently passed the following resolution:

Whereas, A. McClave, the manager, and S. K. Gurney, the captain of the freshman baseball team, in the recent game with the Harvard freshmen, placed W. H. Steere, a member of the sophomore class, upon this nine without notifying the opposing nine until after the game was finished,

Resolved, That the faculty censure the above named for their dishonorable conduct, and that the President be requested to inform them of this action.
