In the annual competition for the English prize offered at Phillips Andover Academy by graduates who have come to Harvard, the first prize of $15 has been awarded to Donald Gordon of Kyoto, Japan; the second prize of $10 to Arthur William Ryder, of Andover; Eric Alfred Starbuck of Andover received honorable mention.
