The first Harvard-Yale yacht race will be sailed at New London, Wednesday, June 27, starting at about 10 a. m. Five classes of boats will be admitted. Under the first three classes will be admitted loops or cutters having a water line of from 40 to 30ft., 30 to 26ft., and below 26ft., respectively. The fourth and fifth classes will include cat-boats with a water line of from 26 to 20ft., and below 20ft., respectively. Schooners can enter the race rating as 84 per cent. of their water line.

A Challenge Cup is offered which will be held for one year by the club winning the most points. First place counts 5 points, second place 2 and third place 1. Only yachts owned by members of either yacht club are eligible for points.
